The time has come: the MSV-GB3-025 is ready for its debut!

The wait is finally over: the GB3 Championship and the all-new MSV-GB3-025 are ready to hit the track!

From the moment the first sketches of the MSV-GB3-025 were drawn, the countdown began. A process that evolved through multiple project stages, accelerating with excitement in October 2024 when the very first car rolled out of the Tatuus HQ. From then on, the wait took on a new form — a countdown to the first official sessions, marked by test days, driver announcements, and livery reveals. Now, just a few steps remain before the anticipation gives way to the thrill of the first qualifying session and the season’s opening three races.
Silverstone will serve as the perfect stage for the new model’s debut this weekend, featuring 25 cars on the grid, a roster of top-tier talent, and many new highlights for the series.

A new DRS challenge The opening races of the new car will also mark a historic first : the competitive debut of Drag Reduction System (DRS) on a Tatuus single-seater.
During qualifying, drivers will be allowed unlimited DRS use within the permitted zones. In races, however, DRS activation will be restricted to instances when the gap to the car ahead is less than one second, as measured at specific detection points. At Silverstone, those detection zones will be placed at Maggotts and Village, activating DRS on the Hangar and Wellington straights respectively.

New Tatuus T-326 Unveiled: The Second-Generation Formula Regional Car
New Tatuus T-326 Unveiled: The Second-Generation Formula Regional Car

As part of the announcement of the 2026 Formula Regional Middle East Championship, the Lainate-based manufacturer and promoter Top Speed have revealed the first images of the new car.
The announcement of the 2026 edition of the Formula Regional Middle East Championship provided the perfect opportunity for a major new launch by Tatuus and ATM-Autotecnica Motori. The championship, promoted and organized by Top Speed, has established itself over the years as a key early-season event for drivers from all over the world. Now, it has confirmed that starting from next year and following the FIA validation and homologation process, it will adopt the new Tatuus T-326, the second-generation Formula Regional car, equipped with a specially adapted and prepared Toyota 3-cylinder engine by ATM .
The T-326 represents a natural evolution of the T-318 model, the Tatuus single-seater that first defined the majority of Formula Regional championships worldwide. The category was introduced alongside the car in 2018 as an intermediate step between Formula 4 and international Formula 3. With its homologation cycle and transitional period coming to an end, the T-318 is set to pass the baton to a new generation of cars at the conclusion of the current season. These new models will feature enhanced performance, higher safety standards, and technical solutions designed to improve and refine the driving experience , ultimately aiding young drivers in their journey up the single-seater pyramid.
Aerodynamics & Performance The car features a completely redesigned aerodynamic profile, shaped by the new FIA technical regulations for the category and inspired by the latest trends from the highest levels of Formula racing. The result is an overall performance boost, improved aerodynamic efficiency, and a reduction in wake effect, facilitating better overtaking conditions .
Engine, Technical and Mechanical solutions As mentioned, the car will be powered by the new Toyota-ATM 1.6-liter three-cylinder engin e, delivering 270 HP and 360 Nm of torque.
From a technical and mechanical standpoint, the T-326 introduces innovative and effective solutions aimed at improving drivability, enhancing the driver’s experience, and increasing the car’s educational value within the category . Key advancements include weight reduction, an optimized steering rack, and a revised suspension setup that provides a greater sense of lightness and ease of handling.
Safety & Driver Comfort Safety has always been a cornerstone of every Tatuus project, and this car is no exception . The chassis has been developed in accordance with the new FIA technical regulations to further enhance crash resistance. Additionally, key components such as the front and rear crash boxes, anti-intrusion panels, and roll bar have been updated to meet the latest safety standards.
Beyond safety, the cockpit has been designed to maximize driver comfort and ergonomics, accommodating both men and women across a wider height range, ensuring optimal conditions for competing on track .
The Formula Regional Middle East Championship is the first series to confirm the adoption of the new car, which now sets to undergo the FIA validation process before being fully unveiled in 2025. This marks another milestone in the longstanding collaboration between Top Speed and Tatuus, now in its 20th year.
