The first unit of the car, announced by Tatuus and MSV in June 2024, has come to life at the Tatuus HQ in Lainate.
The first MSV-GB3-025 has rolled off the stands at Tatuus’ production facility, marking the completion of its design and manufacturing phase, which took place throughout the spring and summer. During this period, Tatuus and MSV had already shared the first renders of the car with the public.
With the production of the first unit, both companies have now released the first images of the fully assembled car. No longer limited to digital renderings, the MSV-GB3-025 can now be seen in every detail—from the carbon fiber weave to the contours of the front and rear wings, as well as the floor and DRS. The result is a unique design that harmonizes the latest technical and regulatory trends in formula racing with iconic elements of tradition.
The MSV-GB3-025 is the first Tatuus car ever to be equipped with both DRS and Rim Covers—key elements of its cutting-edge aerodynamic package, setting a new benchmark in its category. These technical choices have been defined by Tatuus and MSV to meet the objectives of the GB3 Championship.
Alongside its aerodynamic advancements, the car features numerous innovative technical solutions, making it a significant evolutionary step forward from the Tatuus MSV-022—a car highly appreciated by drivers and a defining presence in the championship over the past three seasons. Key improvements include new, wider-section tires (with Pirelli remaining the exclusive supplier for the GB3 Championship) and the new naturally aspirated 2.0L Mountune engine, delivering 280 horsepower. Additionally, safety has been further enhanced with new front and rear crash boxes, improved anti-intrusion panels, and a titanium Halo.
The new single-seater will take center stage in the GB3 Championship, which has already announced its 2025 calendar. The season will kick off at Silverstone on April 25-27, 2025, and conclude at Monza on October 17-19. However, preparation for the debut season of the new car will first go through an intensive autumn testing phase, which has already begun and will involve extensive work by both Tatuus and MSV.
